  • Early variety similar to Riesling.
  • Origin: A variety related to Riesling and Seyve-Villard X (Pinot gris or Rülander plus Chasselas or Gutedel). Obtained in Germany in 1968. It can be found in Belgium, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
  • Medium sized bunches of medium to large grapes.
  • It produces a light and discretely fruity wine with mineral notes. The aromas are fruity, verging on citrus, lime, exotic fruits, peach, pear and pippin apples. It is possible to discern notes of dried fruit, such as bitter almond, as well as spicy and floral notes (rose petals).
  • Resists mildew and powdery mildew very well. Sensitive to spring frosts.
