  • Early variety similar to Cabernet Sauvignon.
  • Origin: Cabernet-Sauvignon and Solaris. Obtained in Germany in 1982. It can be found in the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium and Switzerland.
  • Small to medium sized bunches, made of small round black grapes.
  • With an intense ruby red robe, it is full-bodied, tannic and fruity, sometimes with hard tannins, rich in phenolic extracts and compounds, giving rise to a powerful and distinctive wine with aromas such as blackcurrant, cherry, blackberry, black pepper, violet as well as botanic and vanilla notes.
  • Resists mildew well and powdery mildew fairly well.
